Four variants are offered in Malaysia

>CR-V 1.5L Turbo Premium (2WD) : RM 167,700 (The only model with Honda Sensing and power boot)

>CR-V 1.5L Turbo (4WD) : RM 161,600 (Torque distribution monitor, extra 10mm of ground clearance)

>CR-V 1.5L Turbo (2WD) : RM 155,700

>CR-V 2.0L i-VTEC (2WD) : RM 142,400

For many years, Honda CR-V has been the most successful and best selling SUV in Malaysia. But in 2016, it was defeated by Nissan X-trail that offers an intelligent 4x4 system paired with 2.5 liter engine and 7 seater configuration. However, Honda has finally launched an all new CR-V which I think is going to make a comeback as the top-selling SUV this year.

Honda Sensing System

The top spec 2017 Honda CR-V 1.5 Turbo Premium is equipped with the new Honda Sensing System which provide you 7 active safety system including

1. Forward collision warning

2. Collision Mitigation Braking System

3. Adaptive Cruise Control

4. Low Speed Follow

(very useful if you're driving in KL or driving on a highway during festive seasons)

5. Lane Keep Assist system

6. Lane Departure Warning

7. Road Departure Mitigation

Among all SUVs of this class offered in Malaysia, the Honda CR-V is leading the way in terms of technology, clearly a step ahead of its competitors. It needs to offer this level of technology to compete with the Hyundai, Kia and Mazda CX5 2017 that is going to be launched in Malaysia soon. Honda Sensing is Honda's most attractive aspect in this CR-V, even though some may say that these technology has been introduced by other car company like Mercedes and Jaguar way back in time. However, what makes this CR-V so special is Honda has successfully introduced this technology in a car within this price range. This means more people can experience technology such as lane keep assist, auto collision braking system and adaptive cruise control with low speed follow that usually comes only in cars like the Mercedes S-class and Volvo.
